Dale brings 15 years of
experience in architecture and construction to Surround Architecture. His
wide range of project knowledge, from single-family residential to large-scale
retail, contributes to the design acumen of the firm. Dale excels at listening
to detailed client needs and translates those needs into engaging spaces.
Dale, a 1990 graduate of the University of Colorado College of Environmental
Design, is a licensed architect and a member of the American Institute of
Architects. |

Tim specializes in design
of mid-to-large scale buildings that combine mixed-uses such as office,
laboratory, classroom, and services into a cohesive building. He has a special
interest in energy efficient building techniques and the use of 3-D computer
analysis during the design process. Tim brings over 10 years of architectural
design experience to Surround. Tim graduated from the University of Colorado
College of Environmental Design in 1990 with a major in Architecture and
is licensed in Colorado. |

Kim started her architecture career in Chicago and then followed her environmental interests to Boulder. She brings to Surround her experience in both commercial and multi-family residential design. She is particularly interested in sustainability and creating buildings that enhance the environment, whether urban or rural. Kim earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2003 from Illinois Institute of Technology. She is licensed in Colorado and Wyoming, NCARB certified, and is also a LEED Accredited Professional.

Ryan is a recent graduate from the University of Colorado. He majored in Environmental Design with emphasis in architecture. He enjoys holistic design from the building itself all the way down to the furniture inside it. He also has experience in natural building techniques that help achieve his interests in sustainability and cradle to cradle design. |
