| Surround Architecture, Inc., approaches every project with creativity, ingenuity, and enthusiasm. We are conveniently located at 1727 15th Street, Suite 200 in downtown Boulder, just off the Pearl Street Mall. Surround is familiar with many unique requirements of various communities, and with the regulatory approval process that affects many projects within the City of Boulder and Boulder County. Much of Surround Architecture’s work is Colorado based. Our local roots and knowledge of the area provide a connection to the community and level of care that shows through in all of our projects. As a smaller firm we all take ownership in every design. Founded in 2005 by Dale Hubbard A.I.A., Surround was envisioned from its inception as a design based, client focused firm. Timothy Laughlin, AIA joined the firm in 2006. As firm members we are actively involved from initial conceptual conversations through occupancy. Our direct involvement throughout the project ensures continuity and accounts for the success of your project. Each individual in our firm is a dedicated team member with experience guiding projects through regulatory environments. Surround Architecture approaches our sustainable responsibilities in the built environment with a balanced approach. Emerging technologies are studied with broad metrics to assess true performance. Complex energy modeling is provided by our Environmental Consulting group, Populus, in a collaborative, co-located studio approach. Our dedication to environmental stewardship is also evident in the incorporation of a 7.3 kW solar array into the design of our office building, providing 100% of our electric needs throughout the year. Surround Architecture provides a suite of services including Architectural design, feasibility and conceptual studies, planning, contract administration, Interior design, tenant improvements and in-house production of Marketing Collateral such as project renderings. Our comprehensive knowledge and utilization of our software streamlines our process from early design right through working drawings. We hold our relationship with our clients in the highest regard, and through our talent, ingenuity, and experience, seek to make every project a successful one. |
